What are you choosing to do to hear His voice more clearly?
"34 These words are not of men nor of man, but of me; wherefore, you shall testify they are of me and not of man;
35 For it is my voice which speaketh them unto you; for they are given by my Spirit unto you, and by my power you can read them one to another; and save it were by my power you could not have them;
36 Wherefore, you can testify that you have heard my voice, and know my words." (Doctrine and Covenants 18: 34-36)

As I Search the Holy Scriptures
Prayerfully
1.As I search the holy scriptures,
Loving Father of mankind,
May my heart be blessed with wisdom,
And may knowledge fill my mind.
2.As I search the holy scriptures,
Touch my spirit, Lord, I pray.
May life’s myst’ries be unfolded
As I study day by day.
3.As I search the holy scriptures,
May thy mercy be revealed.
Soothe my troubled heart and spirit;
May my unseen wounds be healed.
4.As I search the holy scriptures,
Help me ponder and obey.
In thy word is life eternal;
May thy light show me the way.

And here's the commentary entitled: "I can hear the Lord’s voice in the scriptures." :
"If someone asked you what the voice of the Lord is like, what would you say? Think about this question as you read Doctrine and Covenants 18:34–36. What have you learned about the voice of the Lord from reading Doctrine and Covenants? What can you do to hear His voice more clearly?

The voice of the Lord comes to your heart as a feeling and/or to your mind as an idea. It comes as I ponder His words which I am reading from the scriptures, or while I am listening to His servants as they speak, or when I'm listening to a hymn, or when I am praying or pondering after saying my prayer. From reading Doctrine and Covenants, I learned that the voice of the Lord comes to me through the Spirit. To hear His voice more clearly, I can keep my heart and my mind open, always listening to the promptings of the Holy Ghost and I can tune myself always to the Spirit, like when I am listening to a certain radio station-when the frequency is correct, the sound is really clear. When I am tuned in to the Spirit of the Lord, my thoughts are turned to Him, He is the focus of my attention always, and I have my eye single to His glory, I can hear His voice more clearly.
