Exodus 1:8; Exodus 6:6–7.

Does God know what you're going through? Can He hear your pleas for help?

"8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph." (Exodus 1:8)

"Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians." (Exodus 6:6–7)

And here's the introductory commentary for this week's reading assignment: "March 23–29: “I Have Remembered My Covenant” Exodus 1–6" :

"The invitation to live in Egypt saved Jacob’s family. But after hundreds of years, their descendants were enslaved and terrorized by a new pharaoh who “knew not Joseph” (Exodus 1:8). It would have been natural for the Israelites to wonder why God allowed this to happen to them, His covenant people. Did He remember the covenant He had made with them? Were they still His people? Could He see how much they were suffering?

There may be times when you’ve felt like asking similar questions. You might wonder, “Does God know what I’m going through? Can He hear my pleas for help?” Israel’s deliverance from Egypt answers such questions clearly: God does not forget His people. He remembers His covenants with us and will fulfill them in His own time and way. “I will redeem you with a stretched out arm,” He declares. “I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under [your] burdens” (Exodus 6:6–7).

God does know what I'm going through. I've seen this in my life, throughout my more than half a century of existence here on earth. He does hear my pleas for help. He has been hearing my own pleas. He has been ordering things for me and making many miracles happen to help me in times when I needed His help the most--whether physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially--you name it, He's there when I need His help in all the different aspects of life. He doesn't forget me at all. He does remember His covenants with me and is fulfilling them in His own time and way. And He does remember His covenants with you as well.
