How have you been blessed as your hearts are “turned to [our] fathers” through temple and family history work?
"5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord;
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (3 Nephi 25: 5-6)
"13 After this vision had closed, another great and glorious vision burst upon us; for Elijah the prophet, who was taken to heaven without tasting death, stood before us, and said:
14 Behold, the time has fully come, which was spoken of by the mouth of Malachi—testifying that he [Elijah] should be sent, before the great and dreadful day of the Lord come—
15 To turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the children to the fathers, lest the whole earth be smitten with a curse—
16 Therefore, the keys of this dispensation are committed into your hands; and by this ye may know that the great and dreadful day of the Lord is near, even at the doors." (Doctrine and Covenants 110: 13-16)
And here's the commentary entitled: "The Lord sent Elijah to turn my heart to my ancestors." :
"In our day, our hearts are “turned to [our] fathers” through temple and family history work. How has this happened for you? As you read 3 Nephi 25:5–6 and Doctrine and Covenants 110:13–16, ponder why this is such an important part of God’s plan.

It's been my desire to live near the temple, just a few steps away or just a few minutes walk away so I am able to see the temple through the window of my own place, and I am able to go to the temple and do temple work especially for my own ancestors not just once or twice a month but two or more times within a week, even 5-6 times in one week if possible--almost daily. This has been my dream and I am doing what I can to make this dream come true. And I am seeing how the Lord has been inspiring me through His Spirit to know exactly what to do so that I can turn this goal into reality.
