Doctrine and Covenants 107: 22; Hymn No. 24 God Bless Our Prophet Dear

What does it look like in your life to uphold the Lord’s servants—through your confidence in them, your faith, and your prayers?

"22 Of the Melchizedek Priesthood, three Presiding High Priests, chosen by the body, appointed and ordained to that office, and upheld by the confidence, faith, and prayer of the church, form a quorum of the Presidency of the Church." (Doctrine and Covenants 107: 22)

"Prayerfully

1.God bless our prophet dear;

May health and comfort cheer

His noble heart.

His words with fire impress

On souls that thou wilt bless

To choose in righteousness

The better part.

2.So shall thy kingdom spread,

As by thy prophets said,

From sea to sea.

Truth burns in ev’ry soul;

As one united whole,

We hasten to the goal

We long to see.

3.Oh, may thy Saints be one,

Like Father and the Son,

Nor disagree.

United heart and hand,

So may we ever stand,

A firm and valiant band

Eternally.

3 Nephi 19:23" (Hymn No. 24  God Bless Our Prophet Dear)

"

And here's the commentary entitled: "The Lord’s servants are “upheld by the confidence, faith, and prayer of the Church.” :

"What do you think it means to uphold the Lord’s servants by your confidence? by your faith? by your prayer?

See also “God Bless Our Prophet Dear,” Hymns, no. 24."

Here's what it means to me to uphold the Lord's servants by my confidence, by my faith, and by my prayer:

By my confidence

This means placing my confidence in the Lord's power bestowed upon His servants.

 By my faith

This means keeping my faith in the Lord and remembering that He called His own servants and He is guiding them to do His work.

By my faith

This means praying to God for His servants to be able to have the strength that they need to do the Lord's work
