"32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." (Moroni 10: 32)
And here's the beginning part of the commentary entitled: "Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the world." :
"The main reason we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ is because of His atoning sacrifice. Because of that sacrifice, He can save us from sin and death, comfort us in afflictions, and help us “be perfected in Him” (Moroni 10:32)."
I'm indeed so grateful for the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ which is truly the main reason we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ every year. Through His sacrifice, He made it possible for me to become my better version, a lot better than I can make of myself alone--perfected in Him or more like Him.
